Professor Ejaz Ahmad Khan

Professor Ejaz Ahmad Khan is a medical doctor and public health academician with over 23 years of experience in teaching, training, and research in public health.
He has specific expertise in epidemiology, environmental health and climate change, communicable and non-communicable diseases, injuries, nutrition, and disaster management.
He has also conducted consultancies for various national and international organizations. He has been a program manager for emergencies and crises, as well as for immunization.
He holds a medical degree and a post-graduate degree in primary health care management/public health, and a fellowship in public health.
He is also an affiliate to CIEH (UK). He has published around 250 research articles in international journals and has an H-index of 78 and an I-10 of 105.
For two consecutive years (2022 and 2023), he has been ranked among the top 100 scientists in the world in his professional disciplines for Asia.
He has several certifications and has completed short courses, and has served as an editor for national and international journals, as well as being a reviewer for various scientific journals.
Professor Khan has worked as an Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and currently as Professor,
at the Health Services Academy teaching the Master of Science in Public Health course in Pakistan.
He coordinated the national health response for the 2005 earthquake in Pakistan and managed the health response in Cyclone Yemyin of 2008 in Sindh and Balochistan provinces.
He was also the Director of Surveillance and the National Program Manager at the Federal EPI Programme from 2013 to 2015
